At the end of the conference, participants, including high-level officials, technical experts, representatives of civil society and development partners, agreed on a set of recommendations to fast-track the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption in the four thematic areas identified as regional priorities. More recently, a regional conference took place from 27 to 29 February 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand to reinvigorate the regional platform. Countries came together to assess their implementation of UNCAC, including the identification of successes and challenges, as well as identify reform needs and potentially define new programmatic priorities. Participants agreed on a roadmap of three thematic areas that serve as a guiding framework to advance their anti-corruption action through 2027. |

Since civil society participation at the opening Regional Conference in February 2017, a CSO Roundtable on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day 2018 took place in November 2018 in Bangkok and a subsequent follow-up civil society roundtable took place in Manila in November 2019.
