The Regional Anti-Corruption Platform for the Caribbean brings together public officials across the region, facilitating the sharing of experiences to accelerate the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and regional instruments such as the Inter-American Convention against Corruption (IACAC).
The platform was launched in October 2023 at a regional conference in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, that resulted in the adoption of a three-year road map as a guiding framework to advance anti-corruption efforts in the region. Civil society and the private sector were involved in the discussions that led to the road map’s development.
This document is the main outcome of the regional conference on fast-tracking the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption (October 2023, Trinidad and Tobago), containing regional commitments and recommendations in five thematic areas.
