The Regional Anti-Corruption Platform for Central America brings together public officials across the region, facilitating the sharing of experiences to accelerate the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and regional instruments such as the Inter-American Convention against Corruption (IACAC).
The platform was launched in April 2023 at a regional conference in Roatan, Honduras, that resulted in the adoption of a three-year road map as a guiding framework to advance anti-corruption efforts in the region. Civil society and the private sector were involved in the discussions that led to the development of the road map.
