The Regional Anti-Corruption Platform for Central Asia brings together anti-corruption practitioners across the region, facilitating the sharing of experiences to accelerate the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The platform was launched at a high-level regional conference in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in November 2023 that resulted in the adoption of the 2024-2026 road map to fast-track the implementation of the Convention.
The platform facilitates information-sharing and training, knowledge management and the harmonization of anti-corruption policy priorities across the region, in line with its basic principles of organization and functioning.
The platform also cooperates with the Judicial Cooperation Network for Central Asia and Southern Caucasus (CASC), the Asset Recovery Inter Agency Network in West and Central Asia (ARIN-WCA), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units.
This document is the main outcome of the regional conference on fast-tracking the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption (November 2023, Uzbekistan), containing regional commitments and recommendations in six thematic areas.
