The Regional Anti-Corruption Platform for the Western Balkans brings together anti-corruption practitioners from across the region, facilitating the sharing of experiences to accelerate the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The platform was launched in June 2021, in cooperation with Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative, at a high-level regional conference in Ohrid, North Macedonia, that resulted in the adoption of a three-year Regional Anti-Corruption and Illicit Finance Road Map. More recently, in 2024, new priority areas in fast-tracking the implementation of the Convention were adopted at a regional conference in Tirana, Albania, taking into consideration the significant progress made in the implementation of the 2021 road map.
