The Regional Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean provides anti-corruption advisory services and technical assistance to countries in the region to fast-track the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption. The Hub supports the three regional anti-corruption platforms established in Latin America and the Caribbean, namely: South America and Mexico (2019), Central America (2023) and the Caribbean (2023), and the implementation of their respective road maps.
The Hub builds synergies with regional organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and Regional Security System (RSS), as well as the Follow-Up Mechanism for the Implementation of the Inter-American Convention against Corruption (MESICIC).
The Regional Hub is based in Mexico City, Mexico. Furthermore, a dedicated Subregional Hub in Bogota, Colombia provides targeted support to South America. Additional anti-corruption experts are located throughout the region, including in Ecuador, El Salvador and Paraguay.
