This document presents a strategic vision of UNODC for Latin America and the Caribbean looking forward (2022-2025), prioritizing four thematic areas: addressing the global drug problem; combating transnational organized crime; tackling corruption and economic crime; and enhancing crime prevention and criminal justice. 

To develop the guidelines, launched in 2022, consultations were held with governmental institutions, civil society, academia, regional organizations, organizations throughout the UN system, and international financial institutions. 

The Strategic Vision document is the result of the partnership and commitment of Latin America and the Caribbean to UNODC mandates through its role in the international political arena and by sharing experiences and promoting South-South cooperation.
