Media accreditation for the 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, in Kyoto, Japan, fro 7 to 12 March 2021 is nows open . Accreditation is required for both in-person and online coverage.

Hosted by the Japanese government, the theme of the event is "Advancing crime prevention, criminal justice and the rule of law: towards the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development".

Media representatives wishing to cover the conference must apply for accreditation in the UN INDICO platform (click here). Criteria for accreditation and information on the documents required are available here.

The Fourteenth UN Crime Congress brings together the largest and most diverse gathering of policymakers and practitioners in the area of crime prevention and criminal justice, as well as individual experts from academia, representatives of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, specialized agencies and other United Nations entities, and the media. The Fourteenth UN Crime Congress marks the sixty-fifth anniversary of United Nations congresses on crime prevention and criminal justice.
