On 16 November 2018, in collaboration with the USAID New Justice Program in Ukraine, the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and the United States based Washington and Lee University School of Law, the Education for Justice (E4J) initiative co-organized an Expert Workshop for university lecturers and students from Ukraine. The participating lecturers expressed interest in and commitment to adapting the Modules to their contexts and incorporating them into their courses in the academic year 2018-2019. UNODC encouraged them to provide feedback on the quality and user-friendliness of the materials, as UNODC seeks to continuously improve the Modules with the ultimate aim of promoting quality integrity and ethics education worldwide.
Having recently completed the development of the E4J University Modules on Integrity and Ethics, UNODC is now focusing on implementation workshops and engaging as many universities and academics as possible to strengthen integrity and ethics education worldwide. The Expert Workshop in Ukraine was a key part of this endeavour. The Modules and an associated Teaching Guide are freely available on the E4J website.
