Student assessment
This section provides suggestions for post-class assignments for the purpose of assessing student understanding of the Module. Suggestions for pre-class or in-class assignments are provided in the Exercises section.
Students should write a critical analysis of their national trafficking law, considering inter alia:
- Consistency of national law with the Protocol against Trafficking in Persons and other relevant international legal instruments;
- Potential gaps, uncertainty and shortcomings in the national law;
- How the national law tackles the issues of consent, exploitation and abuse of a position of vulnerability.
It is suggested that essays are not longer than 2500 words.
