Conclusion
Governments, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, businesses, and individuals make extensive use of information and communication technology (ICT). The current interdependency of devices and systems around the world and the importance of ICT for countries' economic and national security and national and global development requires a collective and harmonised response from countries worldwide. National cybersecurity strategies are implemented to outline the way this protection occurs, including the measures to be taken and the organizations responsible for overseeing these measures. Metrics exist that can be used to assess the efficacy of these strategies. What is more, tools and resources are available to enable countries to evaluate their cybersecurity posture and assist them in enhancing their cybersecurity posture.
