Characterization of coca producers and agricultural production units

Through joint studies carried out by UNODC / SIMCI with the national government, since 2005 around 3.000 farmers and primary producers have been directly interviewed regarding the cultivation of illicit crops. The process of producing cocaine paste has also been observed.
