Participants were introduced to online legal databases and highlighted the transformative role of artificial intelligence in legal research. Hands-on activities, including case analysis and team-based research projects, ensured that participants could apply their knowledge to real-world legal challenges. Collaboration was a central theme, with prosecutors and researchers working together to address case-specific issues, fostering a deeper understanding of each other's roles in the justice process.

The initiative underscored the critical role of research in prosecutorial effectiveness and policymaking, leaving participants better equipped to tackle complex legal issues.

This training represents a milestone in strengthening Punjab’s justice system. By empowering legal professionals with advanced research skills and fostering collaboration, the initiative contributes to a more robust, efficient, and equitable legal framework.

The collaborative partnership between UNODC and the Punjab Prosecution Department, along with dedicated funding from the INL, continues to drive impactful programs that build capacity and uphold the principles of justice in Punjab.
