Four-Week Interagency Qualification Training Course–1 at the Training Facility of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency in Karachi

11 September 2024, Karachi - A four-week National Interagency Qualification Training Course–1 has commenced at the Training Facility of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) in Karachi. This basic-level extensive training course comprises the Coxswain, Boarding Team and the Boat Crew Members Training and it is being organized by UNODC Pakistan and the Global Maritime Crime Programme (GMCP), under the framework of the INL-funded project entitled 'Improved National Response against Drugs and Contraband Trafficking in the Maritime Domain' (Phase II).

While an assortment of theoretical and practical sessions, the training is being delivered to operational officials of the PMSA, Pakistan Customs, Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG), and the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), by two international trainers of UNODC's GMCP belonging to France and South Africa.
