		This publication is aimed at assisting in the selection of suitable on-site drug testing devices for the screening of biological samples. Criteria for the Characterization of on-site drug testing products are discussed, such as screening matrix (urine, sweat, saliva, etc.), number of drugs to be tested, types of tests available, sensitivity, specificity, ease of use / training requirements, cross-reactivity, storage conditions, etc. Evaluation studies comparing commercial on-site devices with laboratory results, if available, are also referenced.
