Vienna (Austria) - 14 June 2022. The application process for the participation in the UNODC Multi-Stakeholder Workshop on the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and its Review Mechanism is now open! Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) based in Southeast Europe are invited to apply.
The workshop will take place from 27 to 29 September 2022 in Montenegro and is planned to be carried out in person. This workshop aims to develop the participants’ capacity on the UNCAC and to allow for a constructive dialogue between civil society and governmental experts on anti-corruption. The workshop will comprise, plenary sessions enabling participants to contribute to presentations, engage in discussions and exchange information and interactive exercises providing concrete learning opportunities for its participants. The workshop will be held in English.
Mandatory requirements for eligibility:
a. CSOs must be based in the Southeast European region, particularly (but not exclusively) from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia as well as Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244)
b. Experience in anti-corruption, conducting monitoring, legal analysis, drafting reports, working with the private sector, advocacy, and the organization’s potential to make useful contributions to the UNCAC review process and follow-up activities;
c. Good working knowledge of English;
d. Other elements such as geographical balance across the region, diverse ideological and professional backgrounds; gender, ethnic and social diversity will also be considered in the final selection of participants.

Only one representative per organization will be invited to attend, and his/her participation will be sponsored by the UNODC. Priority will be given to CSOs from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia as well as Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244).
