Call for Proposals: Grants scheme to support African CSOs in working with the private sector on anti-corruption
The Civil Society Team (CST) is pleased to invite CSOs from Africa to apply for a sixth round of small grants which aims to encourage the engagement of civil society with the private sector on anti-corruption matter. The CST, with support from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) aim to help develop (or complement) innovative projects or ideas for approaching small and medium-sized enterprises in order to promote anti-corruption activities and the UNCAC implementation. Please consult the Call for Proposals for full details of the scheme, including the objectives of the programme (1.2), the eligibility criteria of applicants (2.1), projects (2.2), and how the projects will be evaluated (4). Grants of up to up $5,000 will be awarded depending on the proposals, and there is a limited number of organizations which can be sponsored. Applications are accepted in either English or French.

What are the eligibility criteria and requirements? |
The mandatory requirements for eligibility are the following: Only Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) based in Africa can apply. Additionally, they had to have been registered no less than two (2) years before the date of the application; CSOs are defined as not-for-profit organizations including Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), community groups, trade unions, indigenous groups, charitable organizations, faith-based organizations, professional associations and foundations. Businesses are not included in this category. No applicant will receive more than one grant. Fill in the below project proposal and budget forms, as well as an organization registration certificate and audited financial statements for the last two years, and send to unodc-cstgrants@un.org, with UNODC Africa Small Grants Scheme marked in the subject line, before 18 December 2019 . Kindly note that only fully completed applications with both documents received before the deadline will be considered. |
