As part of these efforts, the STRIVE Juvenile project is launching a youth-led Awareness Raising Campaign in Nigeria, which aims to fuel community acceptance and contribute to reducing stigmatisation of reintegrated children in some targeted local government areas of Borno state, contributing to overall reconciliation. It will also aim to contribute to the prevention of the potential recruitment of vulnerable children and re-recruitment of those that have already been reintegrated into the communities, building the resilience of key stakeholders, including youth groups, children, traditional leaders, religious leaders, women groups, People with Disability (PWDs), Almajiri (Traditional Qur’anic students),online users, government within Maiduguri Metropolitan Council and Jere Local Government Areas, state and federal authorities.
