UNODC, alongside its partner the Department of Public Security of the Organization of American States (DPS/OAS), is supporting Honduras in implementing MENTHOR. This specialized mentoring programme for prosecutors, law enforcement agents, and government officials involved in victim identification and assistance, to enhance their skills and abilities in investigating and prosecuting trafficking in persons.
As the guardian of the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) and the Trafficking in Persons Protocol, UNODC has unique expertise and experience in developing a wide range of specialized technical tools to enhance skills and build capacity in countering trafficking in persons (TIP).
