Cross-cutting Issues at UNODC
Gender is one of the cross-cutting commitments of UNODC, alongside human rights, youth empowerment, disability inclusion, and the engagement of civil society. In its 2021-2025 Strategy, UNODC commits to embedding human rights, gender equality and youth empowerment into all its programmes, implementing the United Nations Disability Inclusion Strategy, and systematically mainstreaming partnerships with civil society across all workstreams.
