Convened in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from 09 to 11 October 2023, the Platform was successfully launched. During the conference, representatives from Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago, and civil society representatives, shared experiences, best practices and challenges at the national and regional level countering corruption. Emphasis was notably placed on the effective enactment of both the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and the Interamerican Convention against Corruption. The dialogues culminated in a consensus on a strategic roadmap for 2023-2025, segmented into four thematic areas, aiming to fast-track the implementation of the UNCAC in the region.
