In paragraph 2 of resolution 74/247, the General Assembly decided to establish the Ad Hoc Committee to Elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes. Furthermore, in paragraph 10 of resolution 75/282, the General Assembly further decided to encourage the Chair of the Ad Hoc Committee to host intersessional consultations to solicit inputs from a diverse range of stakeholders on the elaboration of the draft convention.
In accordance with resolution 75/282 and the “Road map and mode of work for the Ad Hoc Committee”, annexed to the report of the first session of the Ad Hoc Committee, and paragraph 4 of the “Modalities of the participation of multi-stakeholders in the Ad Hoc Committee”, annexed to the report of the Ad Hoc Committee’s session on organizational matters, the fourth intersessional consultation will be held on 6 and 7 March 2023 in Vienna, Austria.

Meeting times
The meetings of the fourth intersessional consultation will held in English only from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6 p.m., CET Vienna local time.
Format
The meetings of the fourth intersessional consultation will be held in a hybrid format by which the delegations could participate in the meeting in person, through MS Teams, or by both means.

Access to the meeting
The fourth intersessional consultation will be held in Boardroom D, C-Building, 4th floor of the Vienna International Centre (VIC). The link for participants joining remotely will be shared with registered participants shortly before the event.
Registration
The registration of delegates for the meeting will be held on the self-registration platform Indico. The registration process will be open until from Monday, 6 February until Friday, 3 March 2023 6 p.m., New York time.
Participants may collect their conference badge at the Pass Office at Gate 1 of the Vienna International Center by presenting a valid photo ID from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Those delegates, who possess a valid Permanent Mission grounds pass may use it to enter the premises.

Representatives of relevant multi-stakeholders are invited to serve as panellists on one of the panels of the fourth intersessional consultation. A call for panellists for the fourth intersessional consultation was sent via email to all relevant multi-stakeholders on 31 January 2023 with an application period until close of business of Friday, 10 February 2023. Requests will be taken into account based on geographical and gender balance and further information will be provided to the selected panellists in due course. Relevant multi-stakeholder of the Ad Hoc Committee that have not received the call for panellists may contact the secretariat at cybercrimeAHC@un.org.
