The thematic discussion is on the subject of "The responsibility of effective, fair, humane and accountable criminal justice systems in preventing and countering crime motivated by intolerance or discrimination of any kind".

As part of the Secretariat's efforts to reduce expenditure and limit environmental impact through the digitization of conference materials and publications, only a limited number of pre-session documents will be available at the session venue. Each delegation will receive a single, complete set of the documents in the language of its choice.
