Michelle Bond has served the Australia Government’s customs and border control agencies for the past 19 years and is currently a member of the Australian Border Force Offshore Disruption Unit.
Michelle is an active member of the CCP Women’s Network. Through this role, she works in close collaboration with the UNODC/WCO Working Group to empower women and advance inclusive pathways for women in Customs Administrations in Asia and the Pacific.
Avani Nissanka joined Sri Lanka Customs in December 2016 and started working with the Port Control and Air Cargo Control Unit in Sri Lanka in January 2017. She has represented Sri Lanka in CCP Regional Meetings and is a member of the CCP's Women’s Network.
Avani is also a former Lecturer at the Department of Science and Technology Education, Faculty of Education, University of Colombo (UOC).
Alen Gagula joined the UNODC in 2014 and is currently the CCP Regional Coordinator for South-Eastern Europe. He has 20+ years of experience as a project manager working with various international institutions, including the Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE), USAID, the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), and the UN Mission to BiH.
Alen holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sarajevo (BiH), and a Master's degree in Comparative Local Development from the University of Trento (Italy).
