In its resolution 6/3, entitled "Implementation of the Protocol against the Smuggling of Migrants by Land, Sea and Air, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime", the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime decided that the Working Group on the Smuggling of Migrants should continue to perform the functions set forth in Conference resolution 5/3 and decided that it should hold at least one meeting prior to the seventh session of the Conference.
The second meeting of the Working Group on the Smuggling of Migrants took place from 11 to 13 November 2013 in Vienna, Austria.
