UNODC workshops on enhancing critical partnerships between law enforcement officials and civil society organizations in the context of drug use and HIV
This year, as part of UNODC's sustained effort to support countries to reach the 2011 UNGASS target of reducing HIV infections among people who use drugs, and its High Priority Country Strategy for people inject drugs, our focus on the fostering of enabling environments for service provision continued. Building on the 2013 success, UNODC continued to roll-out joint workshops on aiming to enhance the partnerships between law enforcement officials and civil society organizations in the context of drug use and HIV. To date, UNODC has organized workshops in seventeen of the twenty-four High Priority Countries For Injecting Drug Use:
