The Paris Pact Initiative is a UNODC-led partnership of more than 50 countries and international organizations to combat Afghan opiates trafficking and consumption. ADAM (Automated Donor Assistance Mechanism) has been developed within this framework. It is an Internet-based tool for the coordination of donors' funding of technical assistance in any of the UNODC mandated or technical cooperation areas. ADAM is designed to automatically provide funding partners with essential information in order to avoid the duplication of activities and projects, as well as coordinating donor assistance. ADAM offers a unique opportunity to provide partners with real-time assessment of assistance needs.
