Training and certification on ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery management standard for public officials in North Macedonia
10-14 July, Skopje North Macedonia: To support building capacities and implementing standards as the basis for creating resilience on corruption, UNODC has organized a training on ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia in charge of Good Governance. The training aimed at the development and implementation of an Anti-Bribery ISO 37001 standard in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister with the main goal to achieve a modern and effective working environment certified under this standard.
Through a process-oriented approach, focused on the objectives of the Office, the training incorporated all concepts of the anti-bribery management systems. The ISO 37001 standard serves as a comprehensive framework designed to help organizations prevent, detect, and address bribery-related risks. By adhering to this globally accepted standard, organizations demonstrate their dedication to ethical conduct and create a framework that enables governments and organizations to address, prevent, and detect bribery through a comprehensive anti-bribery and related due diligence policy.
The training was organized in the framework of the Regional Anti-Corruption and Illicit Finance Roadmap under the UNODC Regional Programme for South-Eastern Europe with the aim to support the implementation of the Roadmap in North Macedonia and with the generous support of Romania.
