The UNODC Strategic Vision for Africa 2030 outlines our mission to assist the Mozambican government, institutions and civil society in providing more safety to their citizens from drugs, crime, corruption, terrorism, and illicit financial flows.
UNODC implements a broad range of projects and activities in Mozambique, also within the framework of UNODC’s Global Programmes, such as the Global Programme on Cybersecurity and the Global Maritime Crime Programme, in close coordination with governmental counterparts. These activities seek to contribute towards progress under the Investment areas of the UNODC Strategic Vision for Africa 2030 and fast-track the achievement of the outcomes of the Maputo Roadmap, a government-endorsed framework of UNODC assistance in Mozambique.
