UNODC Mentoring:
Strengthening gender sensitive criminal justice responses in the Seychelles
|
As part of the UNODC Regional Office for Eastern Africa (ROEA) project on supporting the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO) and its Counter-Terrorism Centre of Excellence (CTCoE) to prevent and counter terrorism and transnational organized crime in Eastern Africa, UNODC delivered tailored mentoring sessions for law enforcement and prosecutors in the Seychelles. The sessions aimed to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, address challenges, and share good practices to strengthen gender sensitivity and gender mainstreaming in criminal justice responses to transnational organized crime, terrorism, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). |
