South Asia: In support of the #igivehope campaign
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Regional Office for South Asia commemorated the first-ever World Day against Trafficking in Persons by participating in the UNODC-led #igivehope social media campaign. The campaign encourages people across the globe to come together and express solidarity with the millions affected by this crime.

The gathering discussed the importance of the campaign, the principles of which are in line with Buddhist philosophy.
