BEIJING, China – February 2017: Effective as of 1 March 2017, China placed the synthetic opioids, carfentanil, furanylfentanyl, acrylfentanyl and valerylfentanyl under national control by adding these substances to the list of substances regulated by the “Administrative Measures on Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances without Medical Use”.
