 NDS Beta Release Reviewed by Switzerland
UNDCP has received Mr. Laurent Medioni, Switzerland Ministry of Health, to review a preliminary release of NDS 4.0.   Mr. Medioni has expressed his satisfaction with the new enhancements and functionality of NDS 4.0.   In addition Mr. Medioni has reiterated the desire of Switzerland to be among the first group of governments that test and use NDS 4.0. 

Moreover, Mr. Medioni expressed his view of the new system as being more user-friendly, faster and more efficient than the previous releases of the system.  He has also highlighted the desire of Switzerland to test the Internet aware capabilities of the system in terms of receiving the requests for authorizations through the Web.  He has also stressed the importance of the new features of the system in terms of ease of customization and ease of implementing the day to day work flow presented in the new system.
