Mission of the Representatives from the Ministry of Citizenship of Brazil to UNODC Headquarters: Launching of the partnership between SENAPRED, UNODC/Brazil and UNDP for the development of the National Drug Use Prevention System - SINAP
Brasília, 22 March, 2022 - Brazilian authorities from the Ministry of Citizenship were on a mission to Vienna, for the launching of the partnership between the National Secretariat on Drug Use Prevention and Care (SENAPRED), UNODC LPO Brazil, and UNDP aimed at the development of the National Drug Use Prevention System – SINAP.
UNODC Office in Brazil, the National Secretariat on Drug Use Prevention and Care (SENAPRED) of the Ministry of Citizenship (Social Affairs) of Brazil, and UNDP have recently signed an UN-to-UN Agreement in Brazil for the new Project “Support to the implementation of the National System for Alcohol and Other Drugs Use Prevention (SINAP)”.
The project aims at supporting the institutionalization of the National System for the Prevention of Alcohol and Other Drugs Use (SINAP), through i) the development of a coordination mechanism between relevant actors; ii) an informative platform for the public; and iii) access to information and tools on preventing the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
