SPECIAL: Young people of Brazil and the inspiration to change the world

The Group is composed of youth ambassadors supported by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime; forum in New York makes interacting members of the group and politicians in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.

New York, April 10, 2019 - Young people's ideas, energy and creativity are attributes that Secretary-General António Guterres considers necessary to make the United Nations stand out and be more efficient.

The UN chief was speaking on Tuesday to an audience of hundreds of members of this generation in the final stretch of the World Youth Forum.

UN News spoke with Brazilians who were at the closing of the two-day sessions. They are Youth Ambassadors of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, UNODC, in Brazil.
