Government of Brazil and UNODC discuss their perceptions on combating transnational organized crime
Bogotá DC, 22 August, 2018 - The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Colombia received a delegation from the Brazilian Government, chaired by the Minister of Public Security, Raul Jungmann, to exchange information on the dynamics of drug trafficking on the border.
The meeting, which brought together representatives of the Brazilian government and UNODC, worked as a space for sharing technical information on the dynamics of transnational organized crime and emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation among countries as a strategy to generate actions to combat this phenomenon.
