UNODC coordinating joint cooperation of Iran and Italy for training of Afghan counter narcotics police Officer

With this understanding a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Italy in New York. The agreement included setting up mutual cooperation activities to promote the stabilization, pacification, and development of Afghanistan, with specific regard to its western provinces.
The current workshop is the first of three workshops agreed upon. The course aimed at training the Afghan junior police officers on several different modules including identification of hidden concealments, use of technology in identification and dismantling of criminal groups, joint operations and control delivery operations.
