Since 2009, new psychoactive substances have been added to the "National list of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, subject to State control in the Republic of Belarus" (Decree No. 26 of 28 May 2003). For instance Khat and ketamine are included in the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus of 31.07.2009 N 89 " On the Criteria of combined drugs containing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, subject to state control in the Republic of Belarus, and amendments and additions to the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Republic Belarus on May 28, 2003 N 26 "; in 2011, the Decree of the Ministry of Health (No. 50 of 31st May 2011) added other NPS to Schedule I (especially dangerous narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances which are not used for medical purposes) of the "national list of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, subject to State control in the Republic of Belarus" (Decree No. 26 of 28 May 2003). This includes several AM-, JWH- and bk- compounds, as well as mephedrone (Regulation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, May 31, 2011 № 50 on amendments and additions to the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, May 28, 2003 No 26). In February 2015, the "National list of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, subject to State control in the Republic of Belarus" was updated to include
