BOGOTÁ, Colombia – July 2019: The Colombian NGO Échele Cabeza and the Early Warning System of Colombia analysed 100 drug samples from festival participants in Colombia, which users reported as either ‘ecstasy’/MDMA or 2C-B. The test results showed that the samples reported as ‘ecstasy’/MDMA were far less adulterated than the reported 2C-B samples, the majority of which contained a mix of MDMA, caffeine and ketamine instead of 2C-B. The 100 samples that were tested contained 16 substances other than MDMA or 2C-B, including several NPS such as ketamine, dibutylone, DOC, ephylone and MMMP.
