November 2016 – UNODC: Commission on Narcotic Drugs decision on international control of PMMA, α-PVP, 4,4’-DMAR, MXE and Phenazepam enters into force

VIENNA, Austria – 13 November 2016: The decision of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) during its 59th Session from 16 to 22 March 2016 to add PMMA (para-Methoxymethylamphetamine) to Schedule I, α-PVP (α-Pyrrolidinovalerophenone), 4,4’-DMAR (para-methyl-4-methylaminorex), and MXE (methoxetamine) to Schedule II, and Phenazepam to Schedule IV of the Convention on Psychotropic Substances of 1971 has entered into force.

Previously, on 17 May 2016, the decision adopted by the CND during its 59th Session to add acetylfentanyl to Schedule I and IV and MT-45 to Schedule I of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 entered into force.
