VIENNA, Austria – March 2024: At its 67th regular session from 18 to 22 March 2024, the Commission on Narcotic Drugs decided to place five new psychoactive substances under international control. Following recommendations by the WHO, one substance was added to the relevant schedule of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 as amended by the 1972 Protocol and four substances were added to the Convention on Psychotropic Substances of 1971.
