NEGARA (Brunei Darussalam), 19 April 2009 - During the first week of the 18th Joint ASEAN Senior Police Officers (JASPOC), the Australian Federal Police (AFP) facilitated the Human Trafficking Investigation Training Programme. In this context, AFP sought the assistance of UNODC in the delivery of specialized components of the training package. Thus, UNODC provided the necessary expertise and resources to deliver training courses on 'Detection and Disruption', 'Disruption and Proactive Investigation', and 'Human Trafficking and Money Laundering'. The training session combined theoretical inputs with detailed exercises and case studies.
